Jefferson County Schools is adjusting its policy for Chromebook damage and replacement.
Any family who has already purchased insurance will automatically receive a refund directly from the insurance company. Those refunds will be credited to the original payment method of the individual who purchased the insurance no later than December 18th.
Any family who has already paid to replace a Chromebook will receive a refund from the district. Local schools will reach out directly to those families about the process that will be used.
