    Seniors must turn in their Chromebook with charger to the library by the last day of their exams...May 11th.  

    Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen must turn in their Chromebook with charger to the library by the last day of their exams...May 18th.

     

    All fees may be paid with Ms. Hill in the main office. The main office can only accept cash and checks at this time but students/parents are welcome to pay online.  There is information below about paying fees online.  If you have questions about fees, please contact Ms. Hill at bhill@jefcoed.com.  
     
    All fees and school issued devices must be paid/returned before graduation or you may have a hold placed on your diploma and final transcript.

     Enter the above web page information into your browser.  This will bring you to the JEFCOED online payments HOME page.  

    1. Click on Hueytown High School.
    2. Enter your information on the screen as indicated.
    3. Under your information, there will be a list of several categories.
    4. Under each category, there will be lists of classes and optional items.
    5. Select each class that corresponds with the highlighted classes on your fee sheet/schedule (required items).
    6. Select any optional items you wish to choose (recommended items).
    7. Proceed to checkout at the bottom of the page.
    8. Enter your credit/debit card information.
    9. A receipt will be emailed to you.  Please retain the receipt for your records.

    Notice of JEFCOED Special Called and Committee Board Meetings

    The Jefferson County Board of Education will have a Special Called Board meeting on May 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the board’s office 2100 18th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama. The purpose of the meeting shall be to consider and vote on certain bid documents and other board business in open session and to enter into executive session in accordance with Alabama law, to discuss with the Board’s attorney pending legal issues. The Jefferson County Board of Education will meet for our regular Committee Meeting immediately following the Executive Session.

    Jefferson County Schools Announces District’s Teachers of the Year

    JEFCOED and the Jefferson County Schools Education Foundation announced Tuesday night that Grantswood Community School’s Andrea Riley (elementary division) and Gardendale High School’s Alex Lewis (secondary division) are the 2022-2023 Teachers of the Year.
